If you follow me on instagram or twitter (I’m @magali_c on both!) you’ll know that I spent my Sunday at Enchanted Valley Carnival (EVC), a music festival at Aamby Valley City near Pune – I’ve already shared a few photos from the day.
While there, I got to hang out at the Amazon Fashion SOS bus that was spending the day at the festival, serious perks of being a POPxo Blog Network member! Before we move on, let me tell you a little bit about the bus. You must’ve heard of Amazon’s latest campaign, Kya Pehnu. It’s so relatable because I think every single one of us must have asked ourselves What to Wear? at some point or the other. To further help you with all your fashion dilemmas, Amazon came up with the on-call Amazon Fashion bus in three metros Bangalore, Mumbai and Delhi.
You could enter a radio contest on Fever 104 FM & lucky winners would get makeovers, get to keep the clothes they are styled in & also win vouchers! Not to mention, you would get fashion advise from the Amazon Fashion Squad Members themselves – Mandira Bedi, Milind Soman, Narendra Kumar, Miss Malini and Ayushmann Khuranna.
The Mumbai bus was at EVC on Sunday. It was ridiculously plush & air conditioned, so nice to get out of the sun for a bit. It had a comfortable living area & the bedroom was filled with clothes & shoes available at Amazon.in/Fashion that would be given out to a few lucky folks. Is this how the stars travel? I could happily live in that bus!I was at EVC since morning & by the time the bus arrived in the afternoon I was a mess. Frizzy hair, greasy face, smudged kaajal, the works. OK so when at a music festival I care about the music more than how I look, but I certainly wouldn’t want to be seen or recognised by people looking like that! So first the hairstylist fixed up my hair by ironing it.

MissMalini was the fashion squad member at EVC (also Narendra Kumar was there for fashion).

Spending time at the bus was a great pick-me-up during an exciting & exhausting day at EVC. I’m really hope the concept catches on; I’m going to be very disappointed if the next festival I attend doesn’t have a bus like this – Amazon, are you listening?
