Another casual outfit from my Pondicherry travels. This post is named after the badass artwork on the tshirt. I first saw it over a year ago outside Cafe Zoe, not knowing who the artist wars, but I was incredibly drawn to it (& I snapped an instagram of course!) Fast forward to a few months later & I discovered Kulture Shop & their incredible business model of selling art created by artists, not just as framed pictures but tshirts too at a cost that supports the artist but is still affordable for consumers. Although a framed print would last longer, I liked the idea of taking my favorite artwork outside my room, wearing it & making a statement in my own way. They have an incredible number of designs from so many artists but Don’t Mess With Me (by Jas Charanjiva, co-founder of Kulture Shop & fellow Bowiephile!) always remained my favorite!
This outfit was perfect for walking to a café to grab lunch & I couldn’t resist photographing it against this cheery yellow wall – would you believe it’s a government building? Pondy is just something else! x
