If I had to pick one of my absolute favorite nail polishes in my stash right now, Colorbar Nail Laquer – Tangerine Mojito 095* would be it! It was part of their Cocktail brights collection brights collection that launched a few months ago. I’ve had this polish since my birthday (April!) & it’s just the perfect opaque, bright (slightly neon) orange shade.
I know I’m beginning to sound a bit like a broken record, but I’ve mentioned multiple times in the recent past about how I’ve started to love orange clothes & makeup. Well this pretty polish just fed my orange obsession further.
The polish is quite runny which I like it in way. I definitely don’t like thick polishes as they’re harder to apply & chip easily. This applies evenly in one coat but requires two to look fully opaque. I’ve worn it with my Rimmel base coat, which is doing a decent job doubling up as a top coat too. It’s not particularly quick drying. The first coat dries in a minute or so & subsequent posts take a tad longer. It has a nice glossy cream finish & I think it’s nicely vibrant without looking highlighter-neon (which can be difficult to carry off) or garish in any way. It lasts about four days on me before it starts to chip, which I think is pretty decent? I’m quite fiddly so it’ll probably last longer on you if you’re not.
I think I’ve worn it almost continuously these last four months, usually alternating between fingers or toes (I make sure my fingers & toes never match). You can see it on my toes in the I ♥ Orange outfit post & on my fingers for the bhane. streetstyle shoot (where the stylist Tanya even matched a pipa + bella bracelet to it).
At ₹150 for 9ml I think it’s nicely priced too. I feel pretty good about supporting Indian brands. As expected, after trying this polish I ran out & bought another (umm no I actually bought it on the online but saying that doesn’t have the same impact, does it?) I’ll try & click photos of that one soon.

love,
Magali
