While I rarely wear full on ethnic clothes like sarees or anarkalis, Indo-western clothes are something I’ve always been drawn to. I recently came across Jayati Goenka, a label of clothing based out of Jaipur. Jayati’s vision is to blend traditional Indian textile crafts with elements from other societies to create unique & functional garments. All of her creations are sustainable, with most being hand dyed & printed in Rajasthan.
This jumpsuit was one of my favorite things from her collection. It’s a light fabric, perfect for hot & humid Indian weather. Orange is my favorite colour, & the cutout back unique ankle detailing made this a must have for me. It’s so easy to style, no need to struggle with putting an outfit together. I didn’t even need to accessorize, just my favorite wrist watch & colour co-ordinated heels & I was good to go. I’m looking forward to adding more Indian designers in my wardrobe! x
