I seem the have a mild case of SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) In simple terms, that means that people suffering from it get very depressed when the weather is dull, & happy when the weather is bright. It’s not like I’ve been diagnosed by a Doctor or something, but I once read about it somewhere, and realized that I have all the symptoms. Self diagnosis doesn’t mean it’s not valid.
It mostly sucks, but it’s kinda comforting to know that it’s a real disorder, not a quirk of mine or anything. And it’s not like I get too depressed, just a little.
But I find ways to deal with it. Music never fails to cheer me up. Even movies help a lot. And if I have to get out of the house on a gloomy day, I wear bright colored clothes, or something that I really like. That seems to help beat the blues. x
