When I saw this wonderful post on Michelle’s blog I knew I had to do it as well. It’s a great way to look back at a year from a film-photography point of view.
There is a problem, though. I didn’t really keep track of the number of films I used, so mine might be slightly off. But I will try to calculate roughly.

I actually started shooting analog in May this year. And it was slow at first, because I had some bad experiences with film & felt pretty limited with the two analog cameras I owned then (the Golden Half & Actionsampler).

Despite the early disappointments, I kept to it & I was soon hooked.

Total number of film used: about 25.

Cameras used-
1. LC-A – 5
2. Fisheye no.2 – 3
3. Fuji Instax Mini – 3
3. Actionsampler – 2
4. Golden Half – 2
5. Diana Mini – 2
6. LC-Wide (borrowed) – 2
7. Superheadz Wide & Slim – 1
8. Holga 120 GCFN (used at a workshop) – 1
9. LC-A+ (borrowed) – 1
10. Yashica Electro 35 (borrowed)- 1

Types of film
1. Color Negative {Kodak 400, Lomography CN 400, Lomography CN 100} – 18
2. Redscale film {Lomography Redscale xr 50-200} – 1
3. Slide {Lomography Xpro 200, Lomography Xpro Chrome} – 2
4. Medium format 120 film {Lomography B&W 100 120} – 1
5. Fuji Instax Mini film – 3

New Cameras– {I did go a little crazy camera buying this year, but I don’t regret it at all. 🙂 }
1. Lomography ActionSampler
2. Fuji Cheki 50
3. Lomography La Sardina (I ended up switching it out for a Diana Mini)
4. Lomography Fisheye 2 (won this on a contest on Lomography India)
5. Lomo LC-A (I bought two of these)
6. Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super B (gift from an uncle. Haven’t been able to get it working but I hope I can soon)
7. Superheadz Wide & Slim
8. Fed 5B
9. Smena 8M
10. Smena Symbol
11. Yashica Electro 35
12. Canon A-1

I have a very good feeling about the Canon A-1, I haven’t finished a roll yet but I will soon & I’m excited to see results from it.
So this was 2011. I’m not 100% sure if the number of films is right, it could be more (definitely not less).
I will definitely keep a proper record in 2012. And comparing years will be fun, because I am sure I will be shooting a lot more film in 2012.
