Kaya Skin Clinic is a very well known specialty skin clinic with branches throughout India that offers laser hair removal & various skin treatments for both genders, they also have their own line of skincare products that they retail in their outlets & online.
Last month they asked if I would like to try their Aqua Radiance Treatment & review if here. It was my first time trying anything in their clinic (although I have tried + liked some of their products before). Here’s a little about the treatment itself:
Kaya Aqua Radiance is a revolutionary service which, for the first time, painlessly infuses vitamins as deep as 4.5 mm into your skin. Drawing on the healing properties of oxygen and water to replenish skin cells, this service uses cool and soothing supersonic jet sprays to gently slough off layers of dead cells, instantly enabling your pores to breathe while restoring lost lustre. This deep cleansing process also unclogs blackheads, leaving your skin spotless and fresh.

Jet M machine, a hand piece with a specialized nozzle, directs a powerful jet of saline water onto the skin and its matching high energy sprays, cleanse and gently exfoliate the skin. Soon after exfoliation, nutrients such as Vitamin A+E, B5, C and Hyaluronic acid are infused at high pressure, resulting in better penetration. Comedone extraction is carried out using a special vacuum operated device. Finally, application of Daily Use sunscreen.

That’s what makes the Aqua Radiance treatment so much more effective at exfoliating, hydrating and rejuvenating than other superficial care.

When I arrived at the clinic for my appointment, I was asked a few basic medical questions & then served a refreshing welcome drink – a cooler infused with green apple, cinnamon & honey.

Next I was ushered into the small room (cubicle?) where my treatment would take place, I was led to keep my belongings in a drawer which was then locked & the key was handed over to me. Then I had to hop on the bed (no need to change) & the treatment was started. My therapist explained each step to me as it happened. It’s not painful at all but the water jet can be rather loud! It doesn’t feel wet, more like blasts of cool air. The treatment must have taken about a half hour (start to finish) & then I was given a few special instructions – not to wash my face with warm water for a few hours & to use sunscreen whenever I was stepping out. My face felt cleansed & very soft. The next day, I did have a few minor breakouts (this always happens, whenever I get a facial or cleanup) but I wasn’t alarmed. It cleared up completely in the 24 hours & overall my skin felt more supple & pores (especially on my nose – ick, I know) were clean & looked much smaller than usual.

I quite liked the effects of the treatment & they definitely lasted at least 3 weeks (Kaya recommends you get this treatment monthly) I’d recommend it, especially if you have something big coming up (get it done at least a week prior) or are heading out on a vacation & want to look extra nice in the photos – even close ups.

love,
Magali
