World For All Animal Care & Adoptions is a Mumbai-based animal welfare organisation, that has revolutionised the model of stray animal adoptions. Apart from adoptions, the NGO also conducts rescues and sterilisations of the stray animal population. I visited the first day of their two day event Adoptathon yesterday to see what it was like & snapped a few photos of course.
Two of the kittens we’ve been fostering through them (no longer kittens!) were also part of it. This is Luise who is obviously not too happy about the whole situation.
The Adopathon also happens today from 10 AM to 7 PM at CMP Homeopathy Medical College, Natakkar Ram Ganesh Gadkari Road, Irla,Vile Parle (West), Mumbai, 400056. If you are an animal lover, please spread the word & go! If you can’t adopt, please consider fostering these animals, even if you’re doing it for the first time they’ll guide you through the process.
